Located on 16 very private acres near the scenic New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, The Ponderosa Lodge is the premiere organic farm stay for large groups in the Eastern United States. In the morning, learn about farm life by joining us as we feed and water farm animals and pick fresh, organic fruits and vegetables from the gardens. Then, relax at the lodge or enjoy all of the exciting outdoor activities that the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve is noted for, including whitewater rafting, rock climbing, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, horseback riding, tree canopy tours, boating, and hiking, which are all within easy driving distance. With ten bedrooms and bathrooms accommodating up to 32 people, The Ponderosa Lodge is ideal for large group events such as church retreats, business retreats, family reunions, weddings and anniversaries. We also host and cater private parties. We are conveniently located on Route 60, the Midland Trail, in Fayette County, WV.
